Meet this beautiful bun with an excellent hairdo, Olive! (Not to be mistaken for Sir Rod Stewart.)
Olive came to BC SPCA West Vancouver from a home that could not keep up with her care, and was looking for help. She is shy but starting to feel more confident and comfortable in her current foster home.
She is looking for a bunny-experienced home that can show her the ropes and build her confidence up a bit.
She prefers a slow introduction to new people and lots of treats. She adores eating her timothy hay and running around a big enclosure – bunnies need a lot of space to stretch and run.
Olive is a mature bunny and likes to keep her retirement villa spick and span – she is almost solely using her litterbox!
If you have never had a rabbit before, we always recommend doing research before committing to adopting one. She has a gorgeous long coat that will need to be maintained with brushing.
Olive would do best in a quiet and relaxing home, without loud noises. She may do well in a home with a confident bunny to show her the ropes, after a slow and thorough introduction.
Olive has a spay appointment on Jan. 22 in Burnaby, but staff would be happy to review any online applications prior to that. The BC SPCA covers all spay costs.
Please fill out an application online or call BC SPCA West Vancouver a 604-922-4622 if you’d like to learn a bit more about her.
