Babka arrived just recently at the shelter when his guardian had more animals than they could care for.
This handsome boy has been a bit shy but is growing more confident every day. He has lived with other cats in the past, and would likely do well with a slow introduction to another cat in the home.
We know that he has no experience around dogs at this point.
He came from a home where he was strictly an indoor cat, and would like to continue bird watching from the windowsill.
We feel that given some time to settle, Babka will be a playful, curious cat whose confidence will only grow in his "furever" home.
Someone special is going to notice this sweetheart and he will quickly become a loving companion.
Babka is set to be neutered on Nov. 20 in North Vancouver (costs covered by the BC SPCA). He would love to find a family before then who can take him to and from his appointment.
If you think you might be that special person, fill out an application on the BC SPCA website or come into the West Van branch to meet him. Adoption hours are 12 to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
