Windsor, Argyle and Handsworth set for football playoffs

Regular season play wrapped up last weekend in B.C. senior boys high school football, setting the stage for playoff races. 

At the AA level North Vancouver’s Windsor secondary ended with a perfect 5-0 record in the Western Conference, earning an opening round playoff bye. The Argyle Pipers finished 2-3 in the same division, booking themselves a playoff matchup on the road this Saturday. The Pipers will play Prince George Secondary, the top team from the Northern AA Conference, Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at Greater Vernon Athletic Park.

At the AAA level the Handsworth Royals went 3-0 in the Pacific Division. They’ll play Seaquam, the second-place team in the loaded Western Conference, Friday Nov. 10 starting at 11 a.m. at Cloverdale Athletic Park.

The West Vancouver Highlanders finished 1-2 in Pacific Division play while Carson Graham went 0-7 in the Western Conference. Both teams were eliminated from playoff contention.
