Is there a North Shore sports star you’d like to see honoured alongside other legends like Harry Jerome, Karen Magnussen, Maelle Ricker and Paul Kariya?

If so, let someone know. Nominations are now open for the next class of inductees into the North Shore Sports Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame categories include athletes, coaches, builders (including officials, administrators and media) and teams.

All nominees must have a strong connection to the North Shore. Athletes are eligible for nomination three years after their retirement, teams three years after their success and coaches and builders three years after retirement or after a significant contribution to sport in the community.

Anyone can make a nomination for consideration by the Hall of Fame’s selection committee. For more details on the nomination process, nominee criteria and to see who has already been inducted, visit the Hall of Fame website.

Nominations for the next class of inductees close on Nov. 29. To make a nomination, email the selection committee.
