Update: DriveBC says there are no more spun-out vehicles or stalls as of 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Original story:
Commuters heading to North Vancouver can expect to see delays as multiple vehicles have spun out in the right lane on Highway 1 between Mountain Highway and Lynn Valley exits heading westbound Tuesday morning, DriveBC said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The transportation watchdog is advising drivers to slow down and drive to winter conditions.
Almost the identical situation happened Sunday morning where multiple cars and a large commercial vehicle spun out from the snow in between the same exits on the uphill stretch known as the Cut. DriveBC noted many were not properly equipped for the conditions, including the commerical vehicle not being chained up.
DriveBC will continue to post updates on X.
