A Climate Strike Rally organized by the North Van-Lonsdale MLA Youth Leadership Council on Climate Action attracted over 200 youth and adults to the North Vancouver City Civic Plaza on the afternoon of Friday May 24th. Teen speakers from four North Van high schools along with elected officials including MLA Bowinn Ma and MP Jonathan Wilkinson addressed the gathering on climate change before the rally continued with a march down Lonsdale Ave.
