North Vancouver RCMP are advising the public of a heavy police presence on the 900 block of Lynn Valley Road.
On Friday afternoon, several police vehicles were parked outside of a single-family home on the busy street. Officers could be seen in the home’s driveway and on the adjacent sidewalk.

In a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Mounties said it was a “planned operation.”
“Because of its proximity and out of abundance of caution, the Vancouver Waldorf School was temporarily placed on hold and secure earlier this morning,” RCMP said. “There is no threat to public safety and the school has now reopened.”
The investigation is ongoing and officers will be on-site for the time being, police said.
“The suspects are known to police,” an RCMP spokesperson added in an email.
