West Vancouver police have released pictures of the man suspected of robbing the Marine Drive Safeway supermarket during the evening of March 31.
Witnesses describe the suspect as Caucasian, approximately five feet nine inches tall. He appears to be 45 to 60 years old.
At about 7:30 p.m. that day, the man entered the store and confronted the manager. He brandished what appeared to be a firearm and demanded cash. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. Police patrols, including a dog unit, were unable to find the robber.
