Her teacher writes: Ella is a very strong visual artist whose work is imbued with a unique sense of aesthetic. Her pen and ink drawings, for example, are detailed, unconventional and highly expressive. At school, Ella turns even mundane tasks into artistic renderings, whether she is creating a title page for a chemistry assignment of finding a way to express the laws of algebra. To Ella, everything has the potential to find artistic expression.
