The coming week is predicted to bring some particularly autumnal conditions, as we officially wave goodbye to the summer season.

According to local Weatherhood stations, the dreary weather will begin on Monday and continue throughout the week, with occasional glimmers of sunshine expected on Tuesday and Saturday.

The first day of the week is penned for temperature highs of just 18 C, with an average of 16 C throughout much of the day. With a 24 per cent chance of rain, those on the North shore should prepare for grey clouds, and chance of drizzle across the morning and early afternoon.

Sunset can be expected later and sunrise earlier, at 7 a.m. and 7:09 p.m., as those darker mornings and nights set in.
