A cloudy, showery start to the week will give way to warm, sunny skies by Friday.

It’s a bit of a steamy start to the week on the North Shore, with warm cloudy skies dominating the local weather forecast.

Tuesday is likely to be the coolest and most showery day of the week on the North Shore. High temperatures should hover around 15. Parched local gardens and streams have a 74 per cent chance of rain, with up to 4 millimetres predicted on Tuesday evening, according to hyper-local weather forecaster Weatherhood.

But don’t pack away the shorts and paddleboard just yet.

On Wednesday, conditions are expected to dry out again, from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove, with sunny skies making a reappearance from behind the clouds in the afternoon.

The sunny September vibe will pick up steam Thursday and Friday, reaching balmy highs of up to 28 near the water on Friday, before cooling off slightly to temperatures in the low to mid 20s over the weekend.
