My death, my legal right

Dear Editor: I agree wholeheartedly with your Oct. 13 editorial regarding "assisted suicide." However, I think proponents should use more positive terminology. I strongly object to the use of the word "suicide.

Dear Editor:

I agree wholeheartedly with your Oct. 13 editorial regarding "assisted suicide." However, I think proponents should use more positive terminology.

I strongly object to the use of the word "suicide." It is not a mental health issue at all, but one which has been calmly and carefully considered."Right to die with dignity" may be a little long but it is much more positive.

God forbid that this should ever happen to me or my loved ones, but if it does, I wish to have the legal right to have it dealt with in a positive, compassionate, and timely manner.
