Letter: Thank you for thinking about the future while politicians think only of votes

Dear Editor:

RE: On Climate Action, Our Leaders Are Now Carbon Copies of Each Other, April 2 editorial

Thank you for saying the obvious on the recent axe of the carbon tax. You just hit the nail on the head.

Politicians come and go, flip and flop to get votes in every election cycle. But our community news is always steadfast to report the truth on the ground. I commend you for your integrity and clear vision.

It is sad that many community papers are closing in this new round of capitalism consolidation. I hope you will remain, proud and loud as our voices.
