Re: Editorial: We have an urgent need for washrooms at Phibbs Exchange

Dear Editor:

It beggars belief!

When will the availability of washrooms be recognized as a basic human right? The need transcends all ages, especially those with particular “issues.”

A recent trip to Japan proved infinitely more pleasurable by the abundant availability of toilet facilities, all clean and operable.

The City of New Westminster recently conducted a survey of this very question. Good for them and let’s hope that all levels of government start acting accordingly.
