Re: Letting public buildings rot is a civic shame

Dear Editor:

The same thing is happening in the City of North Vancouver. At the north end of Loutet park, there is a building that has two washrooms. The city has decided to let them deteriorate rather than do the proper maintenance on them and now they are permanently locked, which is ridiculous for a park of that size to just have washrooms at the south end.

Recently, I've seen many frustrated people using the forest for a washroom when there's an organized event going on.

The city really should just repair the washrooms.
