A formula for tax relief: Cut mayors by 67%

You quote West Vancouver mayor Michael Smith as suggesting we get rid of twothirds of Canadian MPs and put the resulting savings to better use (Still No Funds for $400M Plant Fix, July 25). What an excellent idea.

While we are at it, let's get rid of two thirds of the North Shore mayors, city halls and all the rest of the triplicated staff/ services we have here. What a saving that would be.
