LONDON — Police in London, Ont., say a cyclist has died after colliding with a vehicle in the city’s east end.

London police say emergency crews responded to the area of Dundas and Vancouver Streets after learning of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist.

They say the 49-year-old man on the bike was taken to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries.

They say he later died from his injuries.

Police say they have spoken with the driver of the vehicle and a news release did not say whether the driver was charged.

The investigation is in its early stages and police ask anyone with video surveillance of the crash to come forward.
