What are your priorities if elected? Assure new development permits and redevelopment plans approval times are significantly cut, without compromising the environment and life safety. Others did it, so can we.
How would you address the district’s transportation needs? Immediately increasing public transport routes and schedules across the North Shore; providing alternatives to drivers that currently have no other choice but to keep driving their cars. It will cost us much less to do so, than to keep these cars running and clogging our traffic arteries.
Are you open to amalgamating with the City of North Vancouver? Yes! In order to change things for the better - we must plan together! All three municipalities should collaborate on better planning and enhanced infrastructure.
Do you support the planned Maplewood Innovation District? The way to attract innovation is to actually act innovatively. Make the Northshore more affordably attractive for businesses and newcomers. Only then, will innovation come.
