What are your priorities if elected? Mindful implementation of OCP, collaboration on Translink/transportation, housing alternatives, safeguarding environment, maintaining infrastructure, attracting new businesses creating employment ensuring long term economic growth....
How would you address the district’s transportation needs? Build on framework outlined in INSTPP report working with CNV and West Vancouver to lobby Translink for greater transit funding. Greater public communication from District on MOT & BC Government Ironworkers bridgehead improvements, Lynn Creek east/west connectivity and Mountain Highway interchange dedicated east/west on/off ramps on the Cut.
Are you open to amalgamating with the City of North Vancouver? Yes, definitely open to a dialogue with the City. A multi-faceted issue involving many components. I would support exploration of this concept.
Do you support the planned Maplewood Innovation District? Yes, we need to encourage outside the box thinking encouraging employment, affordable workforce housing, community space and connectivity with a dedicated B-line, it's a win/win.
