What are your priorities if elected? Managing change in our Community which ranges from the provision of housing of all types ,particularly affordable rentals , transit improvements and sound financial management.
How would you address the district’s transportation needs? Using the INSTPP report as a basis, support the proposed B-Line, complete the Interchange separating local east-west traffic from Highway traffic and encourage alternative transportation modes. Work with TransLink and the Province to establish funding sources for the longer term projects of effective transit across our two bridges.
Are you open to amalgamating with the City of North Vancouver? I support the principles of amalgamation which will require an in depth review of the operational and financial impacts associated with achieving the goals established.
Do you support the planned Maplewood Innovation District? I support the objectives of the MID which aims to bring local employment and affordable housing. But a realistic time frame for implementation is required.
