Is the present council effectively managing growth in the municipality? Yes, with our population in decline, Council sought to diversify housing options, including rental units and townhouses suitable for both seniors and a new generation of families. The new Official Community Plan provides for modest growth of 400 residents each year (0.74 per cent), while preserving our quality of life.

Should West Vancouver take steps to curb vacant homes, housing speculation and/or foreign ownership and if so, how? Yes. With 1700 vacant homes, I would advocate for tax flexibility to address these issues. I would implement regulations to address short term vacation rentals.

What is your vision for the Ambleside waterfront? The heart of our community, the waterfront should be defined by open green spaces that invite us to enjoy this remarkable setting. I envision a quiet, protected beachfront, home to the arts and our heritage. Sailing, children playing, a beautiful community garden, and festivals, connected to a thriving seaside village.
