List any political party membership(s): No answer provided.
Do you live in the district? Yes, lifelong.
Non-incumbent: list municipal committee and/or civic group experience: I have had the honour of serving on the School Board, as Board Chair, Councillor, Police Board Chair, Vice- Chair of Metro Vancouver and mayor of West Vancouver
Is the present council effectively managing growth in the municipality?
There has not been enough attention paid on addressing the transportation bottleneck affecting all of the North Shore. We need the three North Shore communities to work together to bring our needs to the attention at Metro, with TransLink and with the provincial and federal governments.
Should West Vancouver take steps to curb vacant homes, housing speculation and/or foreign ownership? And if so, how?
Sorry, this question needs much more than 25 words. We must find creative ways to house the people who work in our community.
What is your vision for the Ambleside waterfront?
I am proud to have been a part of saving the Ferry Building at the foot of 14th and for being part of the original councils who fought to purchase the waterfront for public access. I am glad we did it! Our public, open waterfront is world class!
What are your priorities if elected?
The mayor's responsibility is to create an atmosphere of co-operation and respect, between council and the community. We can and will address issues working together.
