Non-incumbents: List municipal committee and/or civic group experience Haven't had the chance to serve on a municipal committee but have been actively involved in our community at the local and provincial levels.
What are your priorities if elected? Addressing our housing crisis.
Getting North Vancouver moving again with proper transportation planning.
Increased engagement so that local government is more accessible.
Making lives better.
Is the city managing growth appropriately? We need to be building a greater diversity of housing options for people. The number one priority for local government needs to be addressing this housing crisis and building affordable homes so that people who live and work in North Vancouver can continue to do so.
Are you open to amalgamating with the District of North Vancouver? City residents would have to benefit for amalgamation to make sense and I have seen zero evidence that people would see improvements in their lives.
Should the city facilitate affordable housing and if so, how? Absolutely.
