Non-incumbents: List municipal committee and/or civic group experience West Vancouver council 1988-90; Community Engagement Committee; Royal Canadian Legion; West Vancouver Streamkeepers; Heritage Advisory Committee; West Vancouver Historical Society; Ambleside/Dundarave Ratepayers' Association; Old-Growth Conservancy; Heritage West Van; NorthShore Heritage Preservation Society;

Is the present council effectively managing growth in the municipality? Nothing and no one is perfect. Council is struggling with addressing growth along with "affordability" and housing types as well as density. The new OCP will help, as will the just established Neighbourhood Character Working Group. More consultation and time are needed. Let's explore possibilities and choices while going forward.

Should West Vancouver take steps to curb vacant homes, housing speculation and/or foreign ownership and if so, how?  Most agree with curbing foreign ownership. Speculation, if market driven, hardly in WV's control. Vacant homes need definition, many locals spend time away on holiday.

What is your vision for the Ambleside waterfront?  Ensure a green and vibrant seaside strip -- parklike, but keep Ferry Building Gallery, Silk Purse, Sailing Club, some concession stands; facilitate swimming, relaxing, walking, and so on. Review parking. Celebrate the Harmony Arts Festival. Consult local residents with regards to special events to limit disruption. Survey the community for improvements.

What are your priorities if elected? Neighbourhood Character: "Diversity by design." Range of choices -- single-family or multi-family or highrise (in other words, not jumbled together). HERITAGE: preserve and build new for future.
