What are your priorities if elected? Transportation & Upgrade Infrastructure, Diverse Housing for All Ages - "Affordable" both market and rental, Slow Development and reassess what the Community wants & needs
How would you address the district’s transportation needs? I would: provide express busses over Second Narrows to connect with skytrain; provide shuttle busses for short runs; provide more efficient North-South public transportation; provide ride hailing; seek another east-west route. In the long-term lobby all three levels of government to extend planned Seymour connectivity to Mountain Highway to Lonsdale.
Are you open to amalgamating with the City of North Vancouver? Yes. Our RCMP, School District #44, and Emergency Management Services are already amalgamated. This would be more efficient and cost effective.
Do you support the planned Maplewood Innovation District? No I don't support the current planned development. However. I do support building "affordable" market & rental housing. I support job creation & business development.
