Several North Shore football players hit the big time at the 2018 International Bowl held last week at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Handsworth receiver Keelan White helped Canada’s U18 national team score a 44-26 win over the United States, giving Canada’s U18 team its seventh win in eight tries against the American junior national team. Seaquam running back Jalen Philpot was named Canada’s MVP after rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Six more players from the North Shore suited up for Team B.C. U18 all-stars against the U.S. U17 national team. Ben Corbett, Jordan Ivany, Ethan Lock, Ali Rahbaran, Charlie McMillan and Robert Savage all hit the field with the provincial squad as the Americans topped Team B.C. 50-6. The lone score of the game for B.C. came on a 54-yard touchdown pass from McMillan to Ivany.
