Championship banners will be handed out tonight as the North Shore senior girls AA and AAA basketball finals play out at a pair of North Vancouver gyms.
At the AAA level Carson Graham will host Argyle in a 7:30 p.m. start. The top-seeded Carson Graham Eagles defeated Sentinel 63-18 in a playoff semifinal Monday while the second-ranked Pipers earned their berth in the final with a 73-52 semifinal win over Handsworth.
In AA action top-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas cruised into the final with an 88-53 semifinal win over Collingwood Monday. In the other semifinal Whistler Secondary topped Seycove 57-33 to book a spot in the final. The Fighting Saints will host Whistler in the championship game tonight starting at 7:30 p.m.
