Former SFU striker Devin O'Hea has found a new home.
Victoria's Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League announced on Monday, July 22, it had signed the former Red Leaf captain to a guaranteed contract through this year, with a club option for the 2025 season.
O'Hea, who hails from North Vancouver, most recently played for the TSS Rovers of League1 BC, who play home games at Burnaby's Swangard Stadium, from 2022 to 2024 scoring six goals in 19 matches.

“Devin is a player with great character and has been working extremely hard for an opportunity,” Pacific FC Head Coach James Merriman said in the signing announcement.
“He’s a top athlete with a strong work ethic and has been consistently creating goals for his teams. He can play as a target or second striker, has good technique and the ability to create combination play. He will give us another option going forward in our attack.”
During his time on Burnaby Mountain, O'Hea played four seasons appearing in five games in 2019 and six in 2021, but recording no points.
In 2022 O'Hea broke through, playing and starting 17 games and scoring six goals and adding two assists.
In his final SFU season in 2023, he started all 18 games for the Read Leafs, scoring nine goals and recording nine assists which earned him the 2023 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year award.
