North Vancouver’s Capilano Tennis Club scored a big win at the Provincial League Championships held earlier this month in Victoria.
The club’s Div. 4 women’s team, the Capilano Reign, won eight of their nine matches at provincials to earn the championship title, defeating the Kamloops Krashers 2-1 in the final held on the clay courts of Bear Mountain Resort.
The team consists of Tania Skelcher, Lindy Fulton, Lila Klim, Veronika Kryvchun, Jen Turner, Angie Higgs and Nancy French.
