Dare to be Heard, presented by the North Shore Writers Association, meets the first Wednesday of every month, 79 p.m. at Mollie Nye House, 940 Lynn Valley Rd., North Vancouver. The association invites writers of all genres, fiction and non-fiction, to read their work in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and to listen to other writers share their work and talk about the writing process.
