The family of Vincent Che is issuing a fresh plea for the public to help find the missing man.

Che has been spotted several times in Lynn Valley since he went missing on Tuesday, according to Che’s daughter-in-law Zoe Walker.

A neighbour saw him leaving the house at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The RCMP detected his phone pinging cell towers in Richmond that day but his phone has since gone dead.

He has memory problems although he hasn’t been diagnosed with dementia, Walker said.

He’s known to walk in the Lynn Headwaters area and he frequents Rice Lake. North Shore Rescue has now been tasked in the search as well.

“We’d love to just bring him home in whatever way possible,” Walker said. “We have full faith and hope that he is alive.”

Anyone who spots Che is asked to contact police immediately or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Che is described as an Asian male, 60 years old, standing five-foot-seven and weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue vest, brown shirt and blue jeans, along with green shoes, according to the RCMP.
