Environment Canada calls for a significant stretch of dry days following roughly two weeks of rainy weather in the Lower Mainland.

Following a few showers early Monday (Feb. 13) morning, the forecast includes cloudy periods during the day with skies clearing overnight. A wind warning is also in effect, with strong winds up to 70 km/h and gusting to 90 km/h expected. Temperatures are forecasted to dip down to a frigid -1 C overnight which will feel more like -3 C with wind chill.

Tuesday's forecast includes bright sunshine and a high of 5 C during the day, but the morning will feel cold, with northwest winds up to 30 km expected and a wind chill of -3 C. Temperatures are expected to dip down to -2 C overnight, too.

The dry weather is forecasted to continue into Wednesday, with a mix of sun and cloud expected during the day and cloudy periods overnight. Thursday is also expected to be dry, although the forecast doesn't include any sunny breaks.

Locals might have another opportunity to catch some golden rays by Friday, with bright sunshine and a high of 7 C expected during the day.

For now, the long weekend looks like it might be wet, although the precipitation is more difficult to forecast several days in advance.
