That’s a lot of athleisure wear.

Two people are facing charges after being accused of stealing roughly $13,000 worth of merch from the Park Royal Lululemon, according to West Vancouver police.

Investigators issued a release on Thursday, detailing the incident which took place on Aug. 30.

According to the statement, a plainclothes officer on patrol in the mall spotted a man and woman going into the yoga wear store in Park Royal South wearing balaclavas and sunglasses. The two were seen stuffing approximately $13,000 in apparel into two empty bags before leaving the store.

While attempting to arrest the pair, the officer was assaulted, according to the release, and one suspect threatened the officer with a knife.

Backup arrived soon after and the suspects were arrested.

The Crown has since sworn charges of theft over $5,000 and disguising one’s face with intent to commit an indictable offence against Breanne Leigh Erickson, 34, and Jordan Michael Cishecki, 29. Erickson faces one additional count of resisting arrest, and Cishecki is also charged with uttering threats and assault on an officer.

Erickson has since been released on bail and is due back in court on Sept. 18. Cishecki remains in custody and has a bail hearing on Sept. 24.
