A seventh North Shore resident will soon face the law for allegedly taking part in 2011's Stanley Cup riot.
Crown counsel recently announced the latest batch of charges approved for suspected rioters, among them, 20-year-old North Vancouver resident Cole Allen Klawikowski.
Klawikowski is facing one count of break and enter and one count of taking part in a riot. He is due in court for a first appearance on Aug. 30. Five other adults and one teenager from North Vancouver have already been charged for their alleged roles in the incident.
In total, 137 adults and youths from around the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington State have been charged. Three of the four rioters to be sentenced so far have received jail time. All of them pleaded guilty.
