More than 5,000 participants roll across Lions Gate Bridge, through West Vancouver and Squamish on their way to Whistler

More than 5,000 riders made the climb from Vancouver to Whistler in the 2024 RBC GranFondo Sept. 6.

Participants departed Vancouver in early-morning darkness, crossing Lions Gate Bridge before rolling through West Vancouver and Squamish on their way to Whistler.

This was the 15th anniversary GranFondo Whistler event, with riders from more than 30 countries taking part in one of three routes: the 55-kilometre Melo, the 122-km GranFondo and the 152-km Forte.
