Police are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision that left a woman in critical condition in Edgemont.
At 5 p.m. on Dec. 28 police were called to the North Vancouver village after a four-door sedan, that had been travelling Eastbound on Ridgewood Dr near Norcross Way, collided with a pedestrian.
The driver had remained at the scene, called 911 and assisted the injured pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, before she was rushed to hospital by BC Paramedics.
“North Vancouver RCMP traffic team are now in the early stages of the investigation,” said Constable Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP.
“At this time, alcohol does not appear to have been a factor on the part of the driver.”
Anyone who saw or heard the collision, has relevant dash cam footage or has other information that may help the investigation, is advised to contact the North Van RCMP 604-985-1311 and quote file number 23-27409.
