North Vancouver and West Vancouver schools closed due to winter weather

The North Vancouver and West Vancouver school districts have closed their schools for Tuesday, Feb. 4 due to weather conditions.

"All schools in the North Vancouver School District are CLOSED FOR INSTRUCTION today (Tuesday, February 4, 2025) due to current weather conditions, including snow and ice. Please do not send your child(ren) to school today," reads a statement on the North Van school district's website. The West Vancouver Schools statement is here. 

Capilano University also announced closures of its North Vancouver main campus, Lonsdale, and kálax-ay | Sunshine Coast campuses. The Squamish campus remains open.
