North Shore mayors in key roles with Metro Vancouver

The North Shore’s three mayors have all been appointed to positions of leadership with Metro Vancouver’s 14 committees.

The North Shore’s three mayors have all been appointed to positions of leadership with Metro Vancouver’s 14 committees.

District of West Vancouver Mayor Mary-Ann Booth will serve for 2019 as chair of the Aboriginal relationship committee with vice-chair Tsawwassen First Nation Chief Bryce Williams.

City of North Vancouver Mayor Linda Buchanan will chair the finance and intergovernment committee. (Buchanan was earlier elected vice-chair of the Metro Vancouver board.)

And District of North Vancouver Mayor Mike Little has been appointed vice-chair of the liquid waste committee. Metro Vancouver committee appointments last for one year.
