A 65-year-old man died Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Marine Drive.
The man was crossing in the middle of the 2100-block of Marine Drive at approximately 6: 30 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle heading eastbound, according to West Vancouver police.
He had just stepped off a bus.
B.C. Ambulance Service transported the man in critical condition to Lions Gate Hospital shortly after the collision.
It was dark and raining heavily at the time of the collision, according to West Vancouver police.
Police are currently investigating the collision.
