SURREY RCMP have arrested a Vancouver man wanted for making threats at a West Vancouver home last week.

Residents in the British Properties neighbourhood called West Vancouver police shortly after 4 a.m. Thursday when their adult son allegedly threatened his parents while wielding a knife. The dispute was over money, police say.

Police issued a warrant for 27-year-old Houman Rahmani Friday on charges of uttering threats and robbery.

Surrey RCMP officers spotted Rahmani at a cheque cashing outlet Saturday evening and arrested him without incident.

Rahmani now faces four charges of utter threats to cause death or bodily harm and one count of robbery.
