January is nearing its bitter end, which to the more sentimental among us only means one thing: Valentine’s Day is fast approaching.
Hoping to take your date to new heights this year? Looking for something a little more out-of-the-box than a standard dinner reservation? Not to fear, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is welcoming the return of its annual Love Lights event.
Running Feb. 2-25, every day from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m., the full-scale lighting event transforms the forest into a destination fit for romancing. Hand-holding couples are invited to cross the shimmering suspension bridge, stroll the sparkling Cliffwalk and pose next to the illuminated rainforest chandelier.
There’s even the opportunity to make it dinner and a show, with the facility’s on-site restaurant The Cliff House offering special feature items for the duration of the event. The treetop restaurant will be serving up specially curated rose martinis, alongside a limited-time menu comprising Chicken Supreme and a decadent Dark Chocolate Molten Cake.
Seating for the restaurant will be available on a first come, first served basis, while tickets for the Love Lights event are available to buy from the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park website.
