The foggy conditions Metro Vancouver has been seeing this past week combined with a gorgeous sunset made for a sight to behold yesterday evening.
Not only did Vancouverites behold it, but they also shared it widely across social media. Vancouver's fog has been photographed a lot over the past few days but when combined with the early evening oranges, pinks, and reds, it made for quite the spectacle.
Environment Canada's fog advisory for Metro Vancouver is still in effect with freezing fog expected this morning.
"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may be slippery," the federal forecaster's advisory states.
The dense fog is expected to dissipate later into the morning but Environment Canada still advises road users to use caution.
"Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop," the advisory reads.
