Lime is testing visitors’ appetites for Deep Cove by expanding their boundaries into the area and offering a delicious incentive for the first riders to make the trip.

Starting July 12, Lime users will be able to ride and drop off the e-bikes at Ron Andrews Community Centre, Parkgate Community Centre, and two Lime “groves” within a short walk of Gallant Avenue. Previously, the easternmost boundary for the e-bike share program was Lynn Creek.

The initiative aims to gauge demand for e-bike share services beyond current boundaries while facilitating first- and last-mile connections, according to the company.

To mark the occasion, Lime has teamed up with Honey Doughnuts & Goodies with a special offer. The first 100 riders who show their e-bike sharing app at Honey will receive a special doughnut.
