Party Like a Lobster: Whole 1½-pound Nova Scotia lobster will be served with baked bread, tail-on prawns, grilled corn on the cob, fingerling potatoes, warm chardonnay infused drawn butter and a cold pint of Alexander Keith IPA from Oct. 11 to 13 at all Earls locations. Available daily from 5 p.m. while quantities last. Cost: $30 ($25 without beer). Reservations suggested.

Toast to the Coast: An elegant celebration of conservation Friday, Oct. 12, 7: 30-11 p.m. Join more than 550 foodies and wine lovers in support of the Vancouver Aquarium's conservation, education and research efforts. There will be canapés from leading Ocean Wise restaurants, local B.C. wines, live music, a silent auction and a fashion showcase. Savour Saturdays: Lonsdale Quay Market will hold a food and beverage festival Saturdays, until Oct. 27 at 123 Carrie Cates Court, North Vancouver. Wine'd Up: Whistler Search and Rescue Society will recognize 40 years of commitment to searching and saving lives at their 13th annual gourmet dinner and auction Saturday, Oct. 13, 6 p.m. at Dusty's Bar & Grill at Creekside in Whistler. Guests at the event will enjoy an evening of food and wine while supporting the work of the volunteers. There will also be live and silent auctions. Edible Canada Market Dinner Series: Multicourse seasonally inspired dinners paired with select B.C. and Canadian wine, beer and spirits. Chef Vikram Vij of Vij's and Rangoli will be featured Tuesday, Oct. 16. Cost: $85. A whisky dinner with chef Eric Pateman and whisky expert Andrew Starritt of Cask Strength will be featured Saturday, Oct. 27. Cost: $125.
