AC/DC will play Vancouver on April 22, 2025, as part of the Power Up tour. It's their only Canadian show on the tour.

This might sound like a bunch of children learning the alphabet, but tonight a legendary rock band is in concert at Vancouver's largest indoor venue.

AC/DC is playing BC Place.

It's the Australian rock band's only Canadian date on the Power Up tour, and one of only two on the West Coast. The current tour is supporting their 17th studio album, Power Up.

Power Up is AC/DC's first tour in nearly a decade. The last time they took to stadium stages was in 2015 and 2016.

The band is one of the biggest names in classic rock, with massive hits like "Thunderstruck," "Highway to Hell," and "Back in Black."

They're still a behemoth in the record industry; Power Up (the album) debuted at number one on the Billboard album charts when it was released in 2020.

Opening for AC/DC will be The Pretty Reckless, a rock band known for hits like "Heaven Knows" and "Death by Rock and Roll." Fans of Christmas movies may recognize the lead singer, Taylor Momsen, from the Jim Carrey version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Doors

Gates at BC Place will open at 5:30 p.m. Digital tickets have a suggested gate attached to them, which will help audience members enter BC Place near their seats.

The concert will start at 7 p.m.

Those who need to go to a physical box office can visit the one at Gate H starting at 9 a.m. or at Gates C and G after 5 p.m.

Tickets

The AC/DC show has mostly sold out on TicketMaster, though a couple of sections have a few tickets. The cheapest are in sections 218 and 237 , which are directly left and right of the stage. Seats in those sections will run about $340.

On reseller sites, StubHub and SeatGeek tickets aren't wildly expensive. Both sites have some at or under the $160 mark.

Transportation

TransLink has no alerts issued at this time for any significant issues on the SkyTrain or SeaBus for April 22, nor any extra service planned.

Hullo does have a late-night ferry for people travelling between Vancouver Island and Vancouver.

Restrictions

BC Place has a firm bag policy, with bags no larger than 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches allowed, unless they are transparent bags. Clear bags are allowed to be 1 foot by 1 foot by 6 inches.

Staff will be outside alerting people to the bag size restrictions and directing people with larger bags to a bag check, which costs $10 and must be done before entering the stadium.

Exceptions can be made for medically necessary bags.

Certain items are prohibited, including large cameras with detachable lenses, posters and signs, drones, outside food, selfie sticks, and large bottles (even empty).

Cashless venue

BC Place is a cashless venue, so be sure to bring a different way to pay. Cash is no longer king in the stadium.

Merch will be on sale inside BC Place on levels one, two, and four.
