Saturday mornings GranFondo bicycle race will affect several North Shore bus routes.

North Vancouver buses that usually cross the Lions Gate Bridge will head for the Lonsdale Quay Seabus station. The 246 bus will turn at Park Royal, meaning Vancouver-bound passengers will need to catch the 239 or 240 to the Quay.

West Vancouvers northbound Blue Buses will turn onto Seymour Street and head for Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing, so there will be no pick-ups on Georgia Street after Seymour.

Southbound buses will cross the Lions Gate Bridge as usual but then detour from Georgia at Thurlow Street.

The westbound Horseshoe Bay Express bus will take Marine Drive rather than the highway, and passengers should allow extra time for the Second Narrows detour. The bus leaving the ferry terminal will take its usual route.

The first three trips of the 256 Spuraway community shuttle will be cancelled and the 254 British Properties bus will use 15th Street in both directions instead of Taylor Way. The first two trips of the C12 Lions Bay community shuttle may be subject to service disruptions.

Service should return to normal after 9 a.m.
