Members of a North Vancouver neighbourhood are sure to miss a favourite coffee shop that is closing its doors.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Andrew’s on Eighth announced that the business will be closing down in early July.
“For 13 years we’ve made this our home and have made such wonderful relationships with so many of you! We loved watching your families grow and also getting to know so many of you. It has meant so much to us,” the shop wrote.
“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Andrew’s at the beginning of July. It wasn’t only one thing that helped us make this decision but many. We spent much time going over our decision but we feel deep down that it’s the right time,” the shop said. “We’re sad but also know that there would never be a right time. We’ll miss every last one of you.”
Dozens of patrons commented on the post, praising the “amazing” owners and staff, and expressing that they’d miss the “bright spot” in the community.
Andrew’s on Eighth was reached for comment, but did not respond.
