A pair of West Vancouver vocal ensembles have released a greatest hits of sorts just in time for the holidays.
For 30 years, Pandora’s Vox Vocal Ensemble Society, which includes both Pandora’s Vox and the Espiritu Vocal Ensemble, have been known for their annual winter concert around this time.
While COVID-19 has prevented the ensembles from providing their usual dose of yuletide charm this December, the society recently put together a video highlighting some of their best Christmas concert moments over the past three decades.
The almost 40 minutes’ worth of footage amounts to nearly a full concert’s worth of holiday material, according to the society.
The opening title card of the video is a message from artistic director Gillian Hunt, who states: “As we cannot perform live for you this year, we offer some concert highlights from past years’ shows for your enjoyment. We hope to be able to make the personal connection that live performances bring to us all next year.”
