Video released this week of Jon Hopkins’ “Luminous Beings,” from Singularity, his new album, out now on Domino Record Co.
Hopkins plays the Imperial in Vancouver with special guest Leon Vynehall on Sunday, Sept. 23, 9 p.m. Advance tickets $24.50 (plus appl. s/c). Available online, Red Cat Main St., Red Cat Hastings St. and Zulu Records.
Hopkins says on Twitter: "The first thing anyone heard or saw from Singularity was this beautiful animation for a section of Luminous Beings. It was directed by Stephen McNally who also translated the album cover from an image that was in my head to something everyone could look at."
