North Shore musician Chris Dietrich, 21, has entered his original song, “Without Us,” into this year’s CBC Music Searchlight competition. Listeners can vote for his song once a day until Feb. 26 at votetoday.ca. Canadian music producers and celebrity judges will then decide who earns a week of mentoring in the Allan Slaight Juno Master Class, five days of recording at Studio Bell in Calgary and a chance to perform at the 2020 Juno Awards.
